Holiday Bonus Podcast: Better Than Jam of the Month Club
We knew we'd be good, right Bled? Today being one of the few days on the calendar between opening night and the playoffs with no game action, Rob and I decided it would be a good time to add to the overall holiday mirth with that good podcast stuff. We went a little long today, probably because Rob gave me the floor to revise and extend my remarks about the Phoenix Suns. Podcast link, download and extras after the jump.
We start off discussing the Rudy Gay trade and it's affect on both teams as well as spending some time on Rudy the player. We move into my thoughts about why and how the Suns are good this year (stealing my own thunder a little since I have a much longer post/series of posts on the Suns coming soon), and finish with a discussion over which teams have the best shot at the HIGHLY coveted #3 seed in the east.

To illustrate what I was talking about with respect to Eric Bledsoe attacking mismatches in an extremely smart way, first look at this Jarrett Jack play where DeAndre Jordan picks him up in transition versus this play from Bledsoe, where he makes sure to attack Brandan Wright from well behind the arc. I'll talk about this more when I get into the Suns more fully later in the week.
