Make Or Miss Podcast #8: Pat Beverley and Pieces of the Mid East
In this edition of the Make or Miss Podcast, Rob and I spend about 25 minutes talking about Patrick Beverley, P.J. Tucker and the guys on the hungry fringe of the NBA (with a side helping of Tony Allen). We then move on to discussing the Middle of the Eastern (conference), talking out who's best and who's the biggest threat among Toronto, Chicago, Brooklyn and Washington.
We finished off by touching very briefly on the Phil Jackson to the Knicks thing, but mostly want to outsource our opinion to our boy Kevin McElroy who shrugs his shoulders at Hardwood Paroxysm over the whole thing.

We're planning to do another cast this week with Dean Demakis to cover which teams and matchups to look forward to in the upcoming NCAA Tourney with an eye towards players' draft stock and pro projections.
Other stuff I've worked on this week includes #BoogieWeek at Hickory High, which collected a lot of differing perspectives on DeMarcus Cousins. My submission continuing the season long comparison of Boogie and Blake Griffin is here. My favorite was probably this post from Jacob Greenberg of The Diss (and GOPRocks!) applying his professional eye as a behaviorist to Cousins' on court behavior.

Coach Nick and I are planning on putting together 2 or 3 of these a week heading into the playoffs to give some quick hits on things to look for from various teams and players. Coming up soon is a look at the always controversial Russell Westbrook
