Make or Miss Podcast #16: Round 1, Two Games Down

Better late than never, Rob and I recorded a podcast before the start of any Game 3's on Thursday. We look far less silly, as we suggested neither Houston-Portland or Chicago-Washington were close to over. In particular, a possible Nene suspension could be a HUGE swing in that series. Indiana though...at a certain point I'm going to have to accept that Pre-ASB Pacers are dead and gone and not coming back. Audio and download after the jump:
We started off by discussing the first few awards handed out. As referenced on the show, please check out my friend Kevin Draper's well-thought-out argument for changes to the voting process, especially considering the salary and cap implications of these awards under the current CBA. We then discussed each series in turn. It's on the long side (just over 90 minutes) but I think is one of our best episodes yet.

In "what else has Seth written this week" news:
- I was fortunate enough to be offered space at Washington Post's Fancy Stats Blog, my first two posts included a look at a possible reason for Roy Hibbert's abrupt disappearance as a productive player as well as a wrinkle in Golden State's offensive attack that Mark Jackson has yet to fully exploit in their series with the Clippers
- Over at Hickory High, I looked at how playoff games and sometimes series can swing on dumb, blind, luck. Sort of like when the most important player in a series likely gets himself suspended by going MMA on Jimmy Butler.
- And finally, also at Hickory High, I made the mistake of giving my wife a platform to discuss the trials and travails of Playoff Widowhood.
