Make or Miss Podcast #12: Making Something of a Lost Jazz Season![]() plished certain things certainly stands as a referendum on Tyrone Corbin to a degree. In a bit of a departure from the usual MoM podcast, flew solo this time and talked with Ben Dowsett of SaltCityHoops to talk about how a team in "rebuilding" or even "tanking" mode can still accomplish things during a season. The degree to which the Jazz have not accomplished certain things certainly stands as a referendum on Tyrone Corbin to a degree. We recorded this last Tuesday, but I don't think a ton has changed since then, from the Jazz perspective - we start off talking about Corbin and move into discussing highs and lows for the season through the lens of the development of players such as Trey Burke, Rudy Gobert, Derrick Favors, Enes Kanter, Jeremy Evans, Gordon Hayward and Ben's favorite, Alec Burks. We also talk a little about Ben's collaboration with Layne Vashro of Canis Hoopus and some excellent draft modeling. ![]()
