Make or Miss Podcast #3: Trade Deadline Discussion

Right now is sort of the silly season in the NBA. All the discussion of who was and wasn't snubbed for the all-star game is dying down (now that Anthony Davis has been added, Al Jefferson, Kyle Lowry, Mike Conley and DeMarcus Cousins, thanks for asking), trade talks are still just talks with the deadline weeks away, and players not participating in All-Star weekend are starting to show the focus one might expect of a bunch of bros in the 10 days before they had to Cabo for spring break. That said, the internet trade rumor mill is in full swing, and Rob and I can throw stuff against the trade machine wall as well as the next guy, so why not?

We start off spending with the long-rumored Pau Gasol to Phoenix rumors. Apologies to David Vertsberger (@_Verts), whose name I bricked on during the podcast, but here's his anti-Gasol trade article to which I referred. Rob also has some other suggestions for where Gasol might end up.

We then talk about some possible destinations for three of the 76ers most tradable assets, Thaddeus Young, Evan Turner and Spencer Hawes, before finishing off with a discussion of the underrated (and also possibly ASG-worthy) Arron Afflalo.

My completely unresearched but not actually that bad trade proposal for the Wolves to add Afflalo. Deal includes Minny sending some form of future first round pick.

A long the way there are barking dogs, bad puns and probably a few mispronunciations, but very little dead air between the two of us. Take a listen and enjoy!
